The First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad will make a primatial visit to the Diocese of Great Britain

Returning to New York from Germany on Saturday, May 3, 2025, where the 50th anniversary of the priesthood of His Eminence Metropolitan Mark of Berlin and Germany was celebrated, His Eminence Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America and New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, celebrated divine services the next day, the Sunday of the Holy Myrrh-Bearing Women, in the church of the same name in Brooklyn, NY, and on the feast of the Holy Great Martyr George the Victorious in the church dedicated to this saint in Freewood Acres, NJ.

On Wednesday, May 7, His Eminence is traveling to London, where he will preside over a regular session of the Synod of Bishops and the festal services on the 4th Sunday of Pascha at the Nativity of the Mother of God Cathedral. During his stay in Great Britain, Metropolitan Nicholas will meet with representatives of the Local Orthodox Churches, clergy and parishioners of the Great British Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia.

Metropolitan Nicholas will be accompanied by Archpriest Serafim Gan and Protodeacon Eugene Kallaur.
