Pascha at the Cathedral of the Mother of God "Joy of All Who Sorrow" in San Francisco (photo-report)

On the night of April 19-20, 2025, the feast of Holy Pascha, His Eminence Archbishop Kyrill of San Francisco and Western America celebrated the Paschal services: the midnight office, the procession of the cross, Paschal Matins, and the Divine Liturgy of St John Chrysostom at the Cathedral of the Mother of God “Joy of All Who Sorrow” in San Francisco, CA.

His Eminence was co-served by the cathedral clergy. The hymns were sung antiphonally by the Bishop's Choir under the direction of Vladimir Krassovsky and a choir under the direction of John Buff.

Accompanied by the singing of the sticheron "Thy Resurrection, O Christ the Savior," a procession of the cross was performed around the cathedral.

After the ambo prayer, Vladyka Kirill blessed the artos loaf and congratulated the faithful on Pascha.

After the service, through the efforts of the cathedral sisterhood, a festal luncheon was arranged for all the guests.
